Sylvia Figueroa, Administrator, brings over 30 years of healthcare experience to Mesa Glen Care Center.  The philosophies of Person Centered Care and Resident First Programs have been the key to the success experienced throughout her career. Her desire to be a caregiver began as when she was a C.N.A. while still in high school. Throughout the years Sylvia has built her expertise by holding various positions in a skilled nursing facility. In returning to college she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing Home Administration and a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator Certification. The strong team building environment that is built from her work experiences and education supports the home-like environment and customer service platform that has been evident throughout the communities under her administration. Sylvia returned to Skilled Nursing Care after many years of dedication service to the Developmentally Disabled and Psychiatric Communities located in Orange, Los Angeles, and San Bernardino Counties. Sylvia enjoys traveling on her time away from the facility in the company of her husband, children and grandchildren.

Susan Reyes, Business Office Manager, is much more than a Business Office Manager and an assistant to our staff and residents, Susan is a friend. Beginning as a Certified Nursing Assistant, Susan has worked at Mesa Glen for over 8 years. During that time, she was promoted to a Restorative Nursing Assistant, allowing her to work with our Licensed Rehabilitation Therapists to improve the physical abilities of our residents. Two years ago, Susan was again promoted, this time to Administrative Assistant where she was performing the duties of receptionist and assisting all of the facility’s Department Managers with their overload of paperwork and responsibilities. Susan has recently transitioned into the role of Business Office Manager and is handling all incoming inquires and eligibily for all new residents as well as assisting with financial transactions in the business office.

Susan was voted employee of the year in 2009, and she continues to be a favorite at the facility due to her tireless efforts on behalf of the residents and staff. She is very hands-on with the needs of the residents and never hesistates to lend a hand or give a smile.


Dr. William Tsai, D.O., attended Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona graduating in 1996 on the Dean’s Honor List. Achievements to date include his professional membership in the American Academy of Family Physicians, American Osteopathic Association, and the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians. He retains active hospital privileges at Chino Valley Medical Center, Montclair Hospital Medical Center, San Antonio Community Hospital, Kindred Hospital, and has a provisional status with Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center. Dr. Tsai has privileges in several skilled nursing facilities, but he serves as the Medical Director of Mesa Glen Care Center and in that role is a consultant to our Director of Nursing Services.

Dr. Tsai and his lovely wife live in Walnut, California with their two wonderful sons. When not working, Dr. Tsai most enjoys spending time with his wife and sons. Their family’s favorite activity is camping, and they also like to try to get away for a few days to enjoy the local activities to be found in Southern California.
