Rehabilitation Services

The goal of the rehabilitation program at Mesa Glen Care Center is to improve functional capacities, promote independent living, and improve the patient’s overall quality of life. All programs approach treatment in a comprehensive, interdisciplinary way, as rarely does a physical disability affect just one aspect of an individual’s well being. Our rehabilitation program is designed for persons coping with the effects of trauma, chronic disease, catastrophic illness, or other disabling conditions. Patients and families are assisted in setting up and attaining realistic goals for achieving maximum independence. Our entire environment is supportive of patient growth and encourages safe risk taking and attainment of goals. Educational experiences for the patient and family are individually structured, including a clear understanding of the parameters of rehabilitation and the effects of any disability.
